Company overview

Yunji Technology (云迹科技) is a Beijing-based robotics company founded in 2014, focused on commercial service robotics and service intelligence agents. Its portfolio spans hotel service robots, composite multi-form robots, hospital logistics robots, industrial AI agents, and its HDOS service intelligence system. As of 2026, the company reports deployments in 40,000+ hotels, 150+ hospitals and numerous factories and commercial buildings across 40+ countries and regions. In 2024, its robots completed over 500 million services, with a peak of more than 36,000 robots operating simultaneously on a single day. Yunji listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Main Board on October 16, 2025 (stock code 2670). According to Frost & Sullivan research cited by Yunji, the company held 6.3% of China's robot service intelligence agent market by revenue in 2024 and 13.9% of the hotel-scenario segment, ranking first in both. The company reports that its hotel-scenario leadership continued in 2025.

About the founder — Zhi Tao (支涛)

Zhi Tao (支涛), Yunji's founder, chairwoman and president, earned an engineering bachelor's degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University and an MBA from the University of Science and Technology of China. Before founding Yunji in 2014, she spent more than a decade in industrial robotics, sensors and automation, serving as CEO of Beijing Invensys Technology and founding Shanghai Emont. Under her leadership, Yunji reports 997 authorized patents and participation in 26 technical and industry standards.

Founder thesis

Zhi Tao frames robotics as a way to solve real-world problems: “Why you climb Mount Everest may be more important than how you climb it. Your motivation determines your approach.” Her approach combines an AI-agent brain with a robot body to deliver practical service outcomes.

Customer & deployment evidence

Yunji reports deployment in over 40,000 hotels across 331 Chinese cities, more than 150 hospitals and 200 medical institutions, and operations in over 40 countries and regions. Its robots performed more than 500 million services in 2024. In 2025, the company reported RMB 301 million in revenue, up 23.1% year on year; its AI digitalization system accounted for 29.2% of revenue. These are company-reported deployment and performance figures.

Hotels & hospitality

40,000+ hotels globally. Chaolin Songyuan Hotel operates 15 robots across six scenarios; Star River Bay used HDOS voice concierge for over 77% of phone inquiries during a 30-day period; Starway adopted a robot, voice phone and locker solution.

Healthcare

150+ hospitals and 200+ medical institutions. Zhejiang Dongyang People’s Hospital deployed 11 robots; Tongji Hospital’s Runyi solution shortened single deliveries to within six minutes; Bangkok Hospital deployed 40 robots.

Industrial & commercial

Factory AI Agent cooperation with Luxshare Group integrates UP robots and AGV/AMR material flow. Deployments also extend into commercial buildings, retail and communities.

Global scale

Operations across 40+ countries and regions, including the Middle East, Americas, South Korea, Japan and Thailand; company-reported reach.

Client case | Chaolin Songyuan Hotel, Beijing Yizhuang

15 robots across six core hotel scenarios

At Chaolin Songyuan Hotel, Yunji deployed 15 robots in regular operation across six scenarios, including room delivery, floor cleaning, concierge service and goods distribution. According to the company, the robots handle 50%–60% of high-frequency, routine guest requests, freeing staff for more personal service. The project formed part of Beijing Yizhuang's Embodied Intelligence Social Experiment Plan. It illustrates a multi-robot, multi-scenario operation integrated with hotel workflows, rather than a single-purpose pilot.
06

Competitive moat

01

Commercial deployment scale

A reported base of 40,000+ hotels and 150+ hospitals, over 500 million services in 2024, and 1.1 billion+ accumulated real service interactions.

02

Full-stack robotics

Self-developed modular 1+N+AIoT architecture, adaptable UP robot chassis, HDOS orchestration system, 997 authorized patents and participation in 26 standards, company-reported.

03

Embodied and disembodied AI

Combines physical robots with AI digital systems in a Robot-as-a-Service model, joining perception, decision-making, task dispatch and execution.

04

Broad cross-scenario portfolio

Run, Gege, UP and single-arm collaborative robots span delivery, hospital logistics, factory operations and emerging manipulation tasks.

05

Operational data and know-how

Service experience across hotels, hospitals and factories informs navigation, interaction, fleet management and deployment; company reports 98% hotel-scenario adaptation.

06

From single-machine to spatial intelligence

The Human-Machine Symbiosis World Value Model aims to connect intent, task orchestration, scheduling and execution. Hotel-delivery data should not be assumed equivalent to dexterous manipulation data.

Core strategic thesis

Yunji Technology is a Beijing-based commercial service robotics and service intelligence agent company that evolved from large-scale hotel robot deployments into a multi-scenario embodied AI platform, with 40,000+ hotels served across 40+ countries and regions and 1.1 billion+ accumulated real service interactions, according to the company.
